Jessica Chastain might not have won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, but she did win an award in my book for best dressed, beauty, and hair!
I loved her McQueen dress – what fabulous gold details – and her makeup wasn’t too overwhelming or too exaggerated. mark. makeup artist Mai Quynh did Jessica’s makeup for the Oscars, and I managed to get the tutorial from MakeHerUp.com.
Start with For Goodness Face Skin Antioxidant Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 all over face, followed by Primed for Perfection Face Primer. Using a foundation brush, apply Min-a-Real Cream-to-Powder Foundation. Cover up any skin imperfections with Good Riddance Hookup Concealer under eyes and around nose. On the apples of the cheeks, use a foundation brush to apply Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint in Peachy. Next, dust Matte-nificent Oil-Absorbing Powder all over face and layer Good Glowing Custom Pick Powder Blush in Cameo Glo using a blush + bronzer brush.
For the eyes, use the On the Dot Neutral Eye Color Compact. Use the various gold and copper shades from the compact and apply on the lids from lash line to crease and along lower lash lines. Next, line Keep it Going Longwear Eyeliner & Shadow in Entourage along top lash line, winging the outer corner for cat eyes.
