golden globes flashback: emma stone


at the 2011 golden globes, makeup artist mai quynh had the opportunity to work with actress emma stone. what do i love about her look? it looked fresh and clean against her calvin klein peach gown! check out the tutorial below; some products are no longer available, so check out their alternatives in parentheses!

start with calm & composed super-soothing moisturizer lotion (try: for goodness face antioxidant skin moisturizing lotion spf 30) and apply all over skin. next, apply face xpert flawless touch makeup (try: got the goods multibenefit foundation lotion spf 15) with a foundation brush. then around nose and under eyes, apply good riddance hookup concealer and blend with a concealer brush. set the foundation and concealer with powder buff natural skin foundation using a powder brush. on the cheeks, forehead, and chin, dust bronze pro bronzing powder in pro glow using an angled contour brush. using another angled contour brush, apply good glowing custom pick powder blush in after glo (try: just blushing powder blush in afterglow) on the apples of the cheeks.

for the eyes, apply i-mark wet/dry eyeshadow in biscotti to the inner eyelid. next, apply i-mark custom pick eyeshadow in gioia (try: i-mark wet/dry eyeshadow in chenille) to the middle and outer eyelid from the lashline to crease. use an angled contour eyeshadow brush to blend the gioia/chenille shade. next use i-mark custom pick eyeshadow in java (try: i-mark wet/dry eyeshadow in tabac) along the upper lashline.Smudge the gioia/chenille shade along the bottom lashlines. Finish the eyes with two coats of lash splash hookup waterproof mascara in black (try: lash act build and define mascara in blackest black).

complete the entire look with lip click full color lipstick in bare hug.
